Angel Island BBQ

Sail an hour and a half to Ayala Cove, eat extremely well under the trees, then sail home.

Currently unavailable. Ayala Cove’s docks are closed for reconstruction, so this program is on hold. Call us and we will put together something just as good. The Golden Gate charter and the team regatta are where most groups land instead.

Depart Pier 40 around ten in the morning, with the captain pulling people into the sailing as you go. It takes about ninety minutes to reach the island, past the city front and Alcatraz. Ayala Cove, where the first Spanish expedition landed in 1775, has picnic and barbecue facilities in 740 acres of state park. Caterers meet you there. Afterwards: treasure hunts, volleyball, hiking, biking, swimming, or nothing at all.
