Introduced in 1991 as the first modern keelboat with a bowsprit and asymmetric spinnaker, the J/105 became the most successful one-design class over thirty feet in the United States, with more than 680 boats sailing worldwide.
We run two: Wonder and Racer-X. They are fast in a breeze and, unusually, fast in almost no breeze at all, with a cockpit big enough that six people can sail hard without getting in each other’s way. If you want to actually feel the boat, this is the one.
